Happily getting some descriptive passages ironed out so it hopefully makes more sense - I keep running into those little detail things, like "Is there a door there? What does it look like? Who closes it again after it has to be opened?" etc. Plus it being based on a real location that I haven't personally been to and can only find a couple interior shots of.... Finally concluding that after a certain point I just have to be prepared to apologize to any natives of the area and adjust as needed if they feel it's important enough to point it out.
Oh wow, describing a real place you haven't been to and have only a few shots of sounds hard. I think your decision to not let your writing get too hung up on possibly inaccurate details is a very wise one. One possibility for later, though -- would it be possible to try to advertise for a beta who's been there who could help you with any last-minute adjustments if they're needed?
Thankfully I do know a lady who lives there and I fully intend to inflict my story on her first, though it's taking me so long to finish it up I haven't told her this yet. I know she's at least somewhat aware of classic Who so I'm hopeful it won't require too much background explaining first.

I've made some progress, but I'm going to take a break. My brain hurts.
