Round 5 Hour 6
Feb. 5th, 2010 09:03 pmIn no way did I get distracted and post this late.

Also you could talk about your fic and stuff. You know, if that's your thing.

(Also, I missed the post about odd-hour coverage back at the comm, but I can also cover any of the morning hours. Let me know if anyone wants to split their on-duty time or would prefer to sleep!)

Date: 2010-02-06 05:45 am (UTC)I don't know if anyone else ever does this -- I hit a point in the story, and it's a speed bump. Or a roadblock. I know what's going to be going on five minutes later (or an hour, or next day), but I can't get there from here. What I sometimes do is leave myself a note saying, for example, "insert brilliant conversation-ending exit line here" and jump ahead to the part I'm sure of. Later on, I go back and fill in the missing line or paragraph or section, and it's usually come unstuck by then.
Does anyone else do that?

(Not that I should even be writing WbaN when Clocket's waiting for her help_haiti fic... *eyeroll*)
