I got 112 words and finished the cover art for my fake album for my fic. I'm going back to writing now, I want to finish before I go to bed otherwise it will bug me all night
I caught up reading fic_rush! That counts as Progress, right? XD
Now I am going to go have breakfast. I might go shopping later - I'm out of milk, although I seem to be running a bit of a head cold and probably shouldn't have milk. o_O
I am so glad my current project doesn't require me to have original thoughts, though, merely react and do a lot of scribbling. That's about the level of braining I am at.
...I wonder if I might use WrittenKitten for it? :D (I much prefer WrittenKitten to Write Or Die; positive over negative reinforcement. Kittens!)
I got distracted by reading a series of blog posts by UK Le Guin, and by food related issues.I will now try to write while during a forthcoming two-hours car ride.
Sigh. I envy you. If I try to look at anything other than scenery during a car trip, the results are unfortunate for me, the car's other occupants, and the upholstery.
The upside is that anyone on a road trip with me will get plenty of time to write, read, edit, knit, learn ballroom dancing, whatever -- because I'm always first to volunteer to drive.
I used to have the same problem all through my formative years, whether I read it or not (my childhood day trips to the seaside included a specific stop where I could get sick in a field about halfway/TMI).
Now it's much better: if the road is flat and the speed constant, I can usually read or write for ten minutes or fifteen at a time. Still, in the end I had a very long conversation either way so it didn't work. On the other hand, it was a good conversation :).
This is a side-community for fic_rush, where we post our hourly posts during rounds. If you've wandered in here by accident, you'll want to go there instead.
If you're with fic_rush and have just shown up, look for most recent hourly post.
