Hellooo! Happy Rushiversary, peoples! This is your emergency stunt mod dropping in for the fabulous isdon_isgood9, who has been forced to leave us (temporarily). It is not known whether glowsticks, alien fish, ninja penguins, or words were involved.

I have no gifs, but I hope the writing is going well? Is anybody here?

I'm going to post this, but then I will edit it with celebratory rushiversary pics. (Celebratory pics in this case meaning anything vaguely happy in my Photobucket. It will therefore probably baffle the world with wilful obscurity and sad lack of penguins.)

Yes, it turns out I have surprising amounts of Peter in my photobucket - and here was me thinking I only had David Collings...

It was an interview with Russell Harty - it was one of the extras on the special edition of Caves, I think. (I'm pretty sure someone'll put it on YouTUbe as well!) And, yes, it's really fun. There is NO EXCUSE for Peter's outfit, and Colin is all happy about being the Doctor and doesn't know what's about to happen to him.

:lol: Brilliant! You're so right - glittery varnish can abruptly induce an SF au, or black may produce a work of unrelentingly grim nihilism. Purple for when the author is a wordy and poetic mode, and you have to be really careful with blue. One shade brings about angst, and the other just gets rapidly NSFW.

(Er. Why, yes. I am distracted from my getting up by contemplating the Rules of the Effects of Nail Varnish on Writing. I'm relieved I don't wear any. Funnily enough, though, I write unvarnished realism.*)

OMG, I remember that interview!! Peter wore the fancy dress simply because he had it. It was brilliant.

I know. Although I can't help but think really he must have been either on his way to or from something else. :lol:

Silver + light bulb = ♥ (Or at least, that was what happened to me when I watched Assignment 3. I've never been the same since. Or maybe it was before that, when he stole the doorknob...)

And, yes. I'm sure Glinda would have stepped in or something, but it was exactly the sort of thing that had happened on the round I suggested I become emergency mod, so it was quite fun to have it happen and this time have the POWER to save fic_rush. ;-)
