It's like season of the witch, only just for an hour. Also, it's nothing like the witching hour.

You're allowed to munch on giraffes and penguins now (tinned, with only natural preservers), but I think I'm gonna go with a pomelo.

Good morning! I am just stirring after my Saturday Morning Obligatory Workout and a wee bit of breakfast. Time to get the brain cells cranking. And try not o get sucked into the vortex of "OMG my new yarn is so pretty wanna knit it right now yeah!"

We have a lot of Jamaicans here, so bun loaf has become something that you can find in the grocery stores, about as easily as, say, tortillas. I think it started as an Easter thing, and then became a year-round treat.

I'm very fond of bready and pastry-type things in the morning, and it's easy to chew, which is also very important today.

That's what I was thinking it might be! We just saw an Australian band play a concert here on Thursday and they were polling the Aussies in the crowd as to whether we were disappointed that there were no Boston Buns (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boston_bun) in Boston.

The answer is, yes! Very disappointed. Because those are delicious!

It is a weasel! It is being cross. But only moderately cross. And also it is being adorable.

We were google image searching weasels and found this one and the icon-ness was inevitable.

The ferret is a type of weasel, and they're domesticated and can be kept as pets.

Also, one of my RL nicknames is Ouisel, pronounced 'weasel'. I try not to be a cross Ouisel, though.

I also recommend the children's book, Never Tease a Weasel.

Ferrets are adorable. I met a pair backstage at a statewide 4-H talent show / skit competition, once. (They were playing "exotic pets" in a... a live-action music video? I really don't know how to explain 4-H sometimes. O_O)
