Also, did we lose an hour somewhere??? It seems a time lizard might have swallowed an hour somewhere in all the rush, but I'm not sure.

Hmm - no I think it's fine. This should be hour 47... unless the time lizard at me, too :(

(still wrting. Although now I'm cheating, cos a lot of the scenes I'm writing now were already written before, in the version of the fic I was unhappy with).

We didn't exactly lose an hour; Hour 36 happened twice, but Hour 38 never happened at all, so we are where we should be, plus we have a perfectly good Hour 38 we can repurpose.

The confusion is because there are 49 posts in the 48 hours: I post at the beginning of Hour 48, and then again at the end.

It's actually one of the official stages of Modly Development: the Inevitable Confusion over how many posts there are, will have been, and might be. Eventually, we'll collect enough extra hours that we can all take a day off and do nothing but write.
