What evil nemeses have been preventing you from writing fic? What has been combating the nemeses, and helping you to write fic? (And while we're on the subject, what's a good antonym for "nemesis"?)

I have been battling Evil Dishes, Evil Laundry, and Evil Miscellaneous Tasks. I am currently being aided by tea.

I have been stalwartly battling the forces of Chaos in the form of erratic laundry-machines for a couple hours now. But I finally seem to be winning! :D

(Well. Winning against the laundry wing anyway. The anti-grocery-shopping wing has snuck up and cut me off from buying provisions for the weekend. :P)

I haven't done any writing, or indeed any homework, at all. :P

Hmm. There's some LJ community somewhere that answers questions like this for fic writers, but I don't recall the name of it right now. Why don't you try asking in the current hourly post?

In the meantime, try not to get bogged down by it. Can you just skip the section, and write the next part?
