I am back and contemplating whether I do try to type up my other ficlet, or whether that is a Bad Idea, given that Ficlet one has given me a headache.

I think I will type a sentence or two and see.

(I am not writing my yuletide fic, but I do have an idea for it. This is my practice writing stuff before I inflict creaky out-of-practice writing on my recipient. Or something.)

You are way ahead of me about Yuletide - I don't even have an idea! So far I only have plans to marathon through the source material tomorrow.

I am amazed, but v relieved I have an idea! It snuck up on me on Friday. But I'll be a much slower writer than usual, so it's good to have a fair bit of time to work it out. Also, can't say much, but quite a scary/challenging request for me to pull off. eek.

Going through the source material a great plan, anyway - you can't usually push ideas too much. Watching with the request in mind will spark something, I'm sure! *wishes you luck*

As in, got back home, made sure home is in one piece after it's been abandoned for 10 days, and now I Shall Write (Oh, Yes).

Not Yuletide, though, that one's still on the drawing table (and requires some re-watching). Instead I shall finish the chapter I owe my readers - sigh, this is my punishment for starting to post the fic before it's finished. Now I'm racing to finish it so I could work on Yuletide.

I've been recovering all weekend long! I think I've managed to avoid being completely jetlagged, although I did get very sleepy yesterday and today.

...Back to work tomorrow... Sob...
