Good morning!  I have coffee.  Actually, espresso.  I'm still catching up on the intranets, though.  They do seem to gallop ahead at a brisk pace when I'm not watching them.

Eventually, I have fics to beta and fic to write.  Action scene!  I need to find my Scrabble tiles.

Apparently, my cold decided a power nap meant sleeping all night and waking up really stuffy in the head area. Ugh. Let's hope I can write after taking care of some mod duties.

Scrabble tiles are one of my most important writing tools. I ended up writing a post about the technique, since I often get asked about it:

The short answer is that I use them for blocking complex scenes, for keeping track of character relationships, and for brainstorming in general over the arc of a long work.
