Well, I dunno about that, but I am done for the night, one complete one-shot first draft, 1927 words, maybe the Alpha Readers will have fixed it for me in the morning.

Problem in alpha reading: what if our readers spoiler our own story back to us? Oh no!
Reader: "Why did you kill your protagonist?"
Writer: "I did? NOOOO!"
