rice cooker is going, and phone timer is set bc I will not hear it beep politely in the kitchen while in my room with the door closed so I can play Holst louder without bothering housemates

and Mila climbed into my lap within five seconds of me getting back in bed, which bodes well for being able to fetch my rice without a scolding and/or pain flare
