I actually made it for the first hour this time. Hooray!

I'm not really sure what I'll be working on. I've got one Big Bang to finish rewriting, One big Bang to send off to the beta, One Big Bang to edit after getting it back from the beta.

And 2 and 1/2 Big Bangs left to write by the end of the Month. And 25 pages of comic left to write for Nanomango.

Oh, and I just started at a new job today.

* I am not new here. In fact I recruited Beth (aka lolmac, bwahaha.

* I thought I was going to be working on a gen Stargate SG-1 story for sg1friendathon (prompt claiming still open, /shameless promotion of a comm I do not run). But I watched six discs of Deep Space Nine back-to-back and then somebody sort of dared me to write mirrorverse Odo/Quark D/s? ...I REALLY DO NOT EVEN. for the newbies, I am the gennest of gen fans!

Um - point is, I never know WHAT I'm going to be working on here. XD

* I heard about the comm through dbskyler, a looong time ago in a galaxy far far away *clearly I am well and truly overdosed on crack sci-fi with adorably ugly aliens in it. I shall regret everything I say here IN THE MORNING*.

* My favourite species of penguin is Galapagos, since they're the only ones I'm sure I've seen in person (they have them at the zoo). I may also have seen a puffin once. Puffins are cool cute and also cool. ;-)

I have heaps of things to write but I don't know where to start. It's awful :( There's 3 WIPs, 2 big bangs, an auction fic that I need to do and multi media bingo challenge for scifiland. Then there are the millions of plot bunnies that are running around in my head.

Hello! I'm Al, or Ien, whichever you prefer. And I totally forgot that the 8PM starting time is in a different time zone, so I'm feeling a bit frantic, which I think is the perfect way to start a writing fest. (No sarcasm intended.)

I'm rotating between three stories at the moment, all Supernatural, two Adam-centric (with a healthy heaping of Jo), one Atropos-centric (set in 3.11, tentatively titled "go screw yourself, that's what I think").

In all honesty, I have no idea how I found this comm. (I want to say I was surfing a friends profile page, but I'm not friends with anyone in this com...) It just had a !!! note next to it, and when I saw what it was, it seemed relevant to my interests, so I joined. /cool story bro

And my favorite species of penguins are the singing and dancing ones from Mary Poppins. Which I would provide links to, but I want to make it at least half an hour before I get distracted by YouTube.

Hello fic_rush! I'm here, except I need to go out and run an errand, during which time I will not be here. But then I will be back, and here again!

(For those of you new to fic_rush, such goes the weekend!)

I will be working on a help_japan Man from U.N.C.L.E. fic for curuchamion. My favorite species of penguin is Alien Fish-Eating Ninja Penguin.

Writing? Hey, there's a concept! And here's my to-do list:

one Five Things for sg1_five_things
one Cliche challenge prompt for getyourwordsout
one Jack/Daniel prompt for jd_ficathon
one Bingo square for kink_bingo
finish Jack/Daniel fic 'Transits of the Moon'

So I need to choose a prompt for Five Things, choose a Cliche, choose a J/D prompt, decide which bingo I'm aiming for, write all those things and finish an oh-so-close to being done story that's been hanging out on my hard drive forever.

Easy peasy, yes? :-)

Hurrah and welcome! In case you hadn't already noticed, we're a little bit crazy here, but that's only at the beginning.

Towards the end, we're a whole lot crazy.

How it works, if you hadn't already absorbed it all: there will be an hourly post for the next 48 hours. Drop in or out as you choose, post about your progress, or whinge about the lack thereof. Sometimes people run into snags and ask for help, and get it. Sometimes people run into savage man-eating alien fish and we never hear from them again, except for small wails of anguish devolving into bubbles.

Um. At the end of the weekend, there's a wrap-up post for the survivors anyone who participated.

I just got in from watching Midnight in Paris, which is a fantasy for writers (I won't spoil it, but really!) So now I am inspired by the combined might of the Americans in Paris in the '20s.

It totally counts as research because I was there with my writing accountabilibuddy.

Hi, I'm Lothithil, and I'll be modding for the first time this fic_rush. I'll be happy if I can manage to write anything at all. My goal is make a drabble for each of the hours that I am on duty.

My fav Penguins are the four psychotic ones from 'Madagascar', and of them, I like Rico the most, because he reminds me of Illya Kuryakin.
