Greetings, Fic Rush!

It's a morning for me, and I'm drinking my second cup of coffee, watching the bleak weather (it's raining sleet, ugh) and trying to brainstorm ideas for the Camp Nano.

There's always either too many ideas, or not enough ideas. Have you noticed this? Now I'm in the 'no ideas at all' part, but hopefully I can move on to the 'plotbunnies!' -section soon!

It's a new hour, with the lucky number 9!

Well, the weather is still terrible but on the positive side, I have no plans for today and no particular reason to venture outside. Unless the hankering for chocolate eclairs becomes too overpowering...

My brainstorming haven't really worked yet, so far I got three or four concepts where 'girl goes solve crimes'. That's not really a brilliant starting point, now is it? Though, depends on the crimes, I suppose?
Let's throw some scheming penguins in the mix!

It's the round hour of ten!

And believe it or not, it's (almost) sunny outside! I have also managed some regular Saturday chores, such as laundry and the like. Well done in that front.

My daily wordcount is 800 words today, and I have roughly half of it already, so I have a good feeling about it. We can do it! :D

Nervous time! Both kittehs have disappeared, after spending most of the last hour chasing each other around and taking turns biting tender bits. Now I am watching carefully for ambushes.

Been a while since I dropped in -- entirely my fault, I kept forgetting it was fic_rush weekend till Sunday night my time, when it'd already be over. How are y'all? Are words happening? I'm posting from my phone here (having acquired an excellent smartphone capable of navigating LJ... more or less), so please forgive any weirdness beyond the usual. XD
