I think the score for a new fic depends on what kind of start you've managed, including whether you've succeeded in getting a plot going.

It is. We went to see an avant garde opera this week which had actual robots on stage but in spite of that amazing fact, still left us wandering out humming "The Humans are Dead." It's been stuck in my head ever since.
