I ran away like 6 hours ago. I just couldn't write and it was making me really unhappy. So I cooked, and ate while reading fanfic. Then I went away from the computer entirely and read a nice thick magazine.

Now, I just finished answering feedback on the 4 commentfic I managed to crank out last night.

I don't think I'm ready to try writing again yet, though. Today might just not be my day. But I'm lurking and thinking about it anyway. Something might happen! :-/

I've spent the last half-hour staring at a post-Tron: Legacy fic and trying to figure out what's missing from the last scene. Because something is, and the fic is not balanced even though it's otherwise finished, and it's driving me crazy.

Oh no. Runaway fanfiction writer. What are we going to do with you? : D

Writing feedback is good cause sometimes that can motivate you but if you're not feeling up to it you shouldn't write. I say just go back to reading and drop in every hour so and let us know what your reading, that could be fun, especially if you're not writing : D

Oh no. I hate it when that happens but I find the best thing to do is leave the story alone for a while, go for a walk, do reading basically clear your head then come back and look it over again and pray it pops out at you : D

What I do when that happens is copy the thing out by hand. (Or at least the scene - I know I write very short things compared to other people.) Somehow that usually helps me iron out whatever was missing.

Thanks a good advice. I've never thought of doing that before. I'm defiantly going to try that next time this happens to me.
