Thea is very well aware that if she lets me off the sofa right now, she'll get shut in the bedroom with her dinner. I also need to clean up her artistic installation, but other than that the only reason I'm not shut in the bedroom myself is there's a cat sleeping on me. or pretending to sleep on me. in any event making herself a deliberate obstacle to any course of action that will involve shutting her in the bedroom.
timely dinner is apparently an acceptable sacrifice towards this end.
