I am typing a sentence or two every few minutes while watching my beloved Boston Bruins play the Vancouver Canucks. This counts as research because there's a non-zero chance of a hockey reference turning up in any given story I write.

Uh-oh. One of my other friends is a fanatical Nux fan. Now I'm equidistant between two loci of intense hockey-fangirliness, and the teams are up against each other. Yikes!

And Vancouver scored. Grrr.

(Bruins had a three day holiday in Vancouver. They're playing as badly as they did during their season-opener in Prague. I have a theory about hockey guys, vacation time, and towns with really good beer.)
