519 words, since I sat down tonight, on a WIP that has been sitting there, unmoving, since...well, a long time ago! 0_0. Wow. I guess I got my "add 200 words to that fic this weekend" goal accomplished! Let's see where I get next :D.

1309 words on a partially-outlined fic that I managed to start writing last night. What can I say - when I have a plot bunny and time, I can go on for quite a while. :P

Hullo again! I wrote 600 words of nonfiction on not-yet-overdue papers for English class today (huzzah for breaking through my writer's block on those at long last!), and also had an awesome and hilarious birthday party with most of my favorite friends. So - yeah, good times. :D

XD Thanks! It's just that, as I was telling studyofrunning last night, the last time I set a goal for that WIP - when I had a longish weekend - it was to update it in the thousands of words...and then I ended up doing something more like 70. So I was a bit more cautious this time around...I guess what I needed was an incentive like fic_rush! XD i.e a situation in which I sit down with the serious intent to write *something*, instead of just thinking "shoot, I gotta add words to this fic tonight". Much easier to get distracted the latter way, as I've found out before!

The new fic was all last night, though. One at at time. :D

...It occurs to me that I have a planet covered in water, which my characters can easily see out into through the windows in the underwater skyscrapers. (Sandscrapers? Coralscrapers?)


Anyway, I'm out for now. May or may not return if wifi cooperates and I have time between wordwars and talking about Doctor Who with the other three people in the county who watch it. :D

I always think of Prisoner Zero and/or the Venice vampire girls. (This has been an oddly fish-filled season, come to think of it. Well - two sorts of alien fish, one space whale, a race of reptilians in cheesecloth, and whatever that thing with the beak was in "Vincent and the Doctor"...)
