*mumble* Just woke up, awaiting coffee, then it's back on with the ... staring down writer's block. Although I have a fix for an extremely weak point in the story and a way to move things forward thanks to some brainstorming last night so that should... help?
All I managed this hour was to do a photo-post (http://glinda-penguin.livejournal.com/255438.html) of my holiday in Northern Ireland...I've only been trying to do it since April...not huge amounts of words involved (maybe 50?) but its something off my to-do list...
I've just enjoyed a most leisurely lunch, reading a nice chunk of Anne Perry's A Sudden Fearful Death (it's all lost_spook's fault! And the irony is that I started reading the William Monk novels so I could read her x-over DW/Monk fic - and she's still not written most of it!).
Well, it's not like being introduced to Anne Perry and William Monk is a bad thing... I just have to pull myself together, but I've been attempting that most of my life, and it only works from time to time.
Yeah, I know. I have it all plotted out, and scribbled pages written; it's just that it needs a lot of writing up, and then everything needs to get researched, too... and there barely seems to be time for writing anything. :-/ I need to have some time together and not be tired/ill/have any people around. This seems to be hard to arrange. :-D

Date: 2010-10-16 12:25 pm (UTC)Though it's doubly ironic that I'm on my second read of the series and STILL there's no sign of that x-over!!
