Oh well, it seems the words are on break around here, so I might as well get lunch. What have y'all been up to?

I wrote and posted a fic a few hours ago, but I forgot to check in when I finished writing it.

I mostly write short pieces for challenges, so it's not unusual for me to finish something in a day, but I still have to finish the one I started yesterday, only I've let myself get distracted by TV instead. Must get back to writing.

I put on a DVD and the episode ended up longer tan I was expecting...

Back to writing words now, except first I have to edit what I've already got. And I only have 28 minutes left before more TV...

There are really no rules about what you can/can't/must/must not do (apart from not feeding the alien fish).

If you're a) writing and b) online, it's nice to pop in once an hour and let us know what you're up to - but if you're too busy writing, or hiding from online distractions, or whatever, that's fine too - pop in once you're back.

I'm not sure if there's an actual rule about not posting quotes from your work, but generally we don't - but people will sometimes mention the fandom they're writing in, or the theme they're writing about.

If you're online but knitting/cooking/eating/procrastinating instead of writing, you will notice that this doesn't stop anyone else checking in regardless!

The mod who posted that hour's post will generally reply to anyone who comments on it, but sometimes they can't, and that's ok. Sometimes other people will reply instead/as well, and that's good too.

There are a few creatures and other injokes wandering about (although you probably won't see the ninja penguins). If anyone can remember how any of them got started I'll be impressed!

No knitting at present, cross stitching occasionally crops up, but writing still takes precedence. Too many prompts to write for every week, but I've done what I planned on doing today, so there's that.
