Chapter 7 is done. That makes one chapter finalized and two new chapters completed this weekend on this story. Sadly caffeine is having close to zero effect on my ability to keep my eyes open so we'll see how chapter 8 comes.

And if the herring will just stay out of things.

Well what am I going to do with my alien fish. *sighs* guess I'll just have to keep it in it's bowl : )

This hour I made and ate lunch and started writing, not many words but its a start and I like them, that's what's improtant : )

Thanks! They're first drafts so they're only about 2k words each... somehow my drafts grow by about a third after revision, fairly reliably. I'm happy to be this far but I'd love to finish the story by the end of tomorrow.

That probably won't happen. And now the eyes will most certainly not stay open so it's off to bed and planning an early Sunday morning. Hope the rest of the evening is good to everyone!
