I am reading 200 year old minutes. They spent the first year fining each other sixpence for not turning up to meetings, and have just had a meeting where they did nothing except write down their names.

It's absolutely fascinating in its way. But the Rules of the Institution say they must have a meeting once a month, and they're obviously doing so whether they have anything to say or not :)
