Rescuing my hand from under my cat's head, to begin with. Smug lil shit retains my laptop as pillow and will seize my hand if it approaches the laptop keyboard again.

I have a horrible suspicion that more like spears than hearts is badly off outline. I did not even outline this story! I have been building up to a particular scene that I will then sled down from!
